Subtract 132 from 196.
This gives you 64.
Take that 64 and divide it by 196.
This gives you 0.326 (round up to 0.33)
0.33, move the decimal Right two places, 33.
33% decrease is your answer.
Hope this helps

Answer:

The rate of decline is approximately 48.49 %.

Explanation:

Given,

The original price of each share = $ 196,

Also, the new price of each share = $ 132,

Thus, the rate of change =
\frac{\text{New price - Original price}}{\text{Original price}}* 100

=(132-196)/(132)* 100

=(-6400)/(132)

=-48.4848

\approx -48.49\%

Negative sign of change percentage shows the decline.

Hence, the rate of decline would be approximately 48.49 %.
