Mixtures of solids.

Sublimation is the process of changing a substance directly from solid to gas or gas to solid. When a mixture of solids is separated by sublimation, only one of the substances in the mixture sublimes. Examples of substances that sublime include dry ice, ammonium chloride, and iodine.
