A 300 room hotel can rent every one of its rooms at $80 per room. For each $1 increase in rent,
3 fewer rooms are rented. How much should the hotel charge for each room to maximize its
daily revenue? What is the maximum daily revenue?
y = (300 – 3x)(80 + 1x)

you would distribute, 300 times 80 is 2400 and -3x times 1x is -3x so the equation would be y=2400-3x
