A triangle drawn on a map has sides that measure 15 cm, 8 cm, and 10 cm. The shortest of the corresponding real-life distances is 99 km. Find the longest of the real-life distances.

The shortest distance on the map is equal to the shortest in real.

8cm=99km

The longest distance is the same

15cm=xkm

When you turn that into an equation it becomes

8/99=15/x

Simplify

x=185.625 km
