As you can see, the angles are congruent. These kind of angles are called vertical angles.

Vertical angles are angles opposite of each other. They always measure the same.

One of the angles measure 150°. That means the other angle also measures 150°.

4x + 50 = 150

150 - 50 = 100

That means 4x is equal to 100°

Divide both sides by 4


(4x)/(4) = (100)/(4)
