How are the functions f(x)=16x and g(x)16^1/2x related?

16^1/2x=g(x)
if x =1 then g(x)=1/4f(x)
but this is only when x=1 when x=2 then it is the 4th root of 16=2
so g(x)=1/4(f(x))/x)

f(x) = 16x

g(x) = 16^(1/2)

g(x) = \sqrt{ 16^(1) }

g(x) = √(16)

g(x) = 4

The number 4 is a dividend of 16 ----> 16/4 = 4

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!
