f(x)=5x+12\\\\ y=5x+12\\ 5x=y-12\\ x=(y-12)/(5)\\\\ f^(-1)(x)=(x-12)/(5)

For this case we have the following function:

f (x) = 5x + 12
Rewriting the function we have:

y = 5x + 12
From here, we clear the value of x.
We have then:

5x = y-12

x = (y-12)/(5)
Then, we return the change of variables.
We have then:

y = (x-12)/(5)
Rewriting, we have that the inverse function is:

f(x)^(-1)=(x-12)/(5)
Answer:
D.x-12/5
