There are three major religions in the world who are waiting for a Messiah to come which will mark their ultimate victory over others, they are, "Judaism, Christianity and Islam".

In Judaism, Mashiach which stands for the savior will be a future Jewish Lord from the lineage of David and deliverer of the Jewish individuals and mankind. Similarly in Christianity and Islam, That savior is Jesus who is known as the Christ, who is to appear in the future and with his appearance victory for the godly people is promised.

The answer would be Judaism. This religion began last 2000 BCE that became the religion of Abraham and the nation of Hebrews. Messiah does come from the Hebrew word meaning moshiach. It means the anointed. Hope this answer would then be of big help.
