First, follow PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents (and roots), Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction)

Also, follow the "left -> right" rule

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, add 1 and 2 together

1 + 2 = 3

6/2(3)

Next, follow the left -> right rule, and divide 6 and 2 together

6/2 = 3

Finally, multiply 3 and 3

3 x 3 = 9

9 is your answer

hope this helps
