Hello.

Angle Theta is equal to: x² + y² = r² OR
r = \sqrt{ x^(2) + y^(2) }

40² + y² = 41²
1600 + y² = 1681
-1600 -1600
y² = 81
y = 9

x = 40, y = 9, r = 41

cos θ=
(x)/(r) =
(40)/(41)

sin θ =
(y)/(r) = (9)/(41)
cot θ =
(x)/(y) = (40)/(9)
sec θ =
(r)/(x) = (41)/(40)

Hopefully it makes sense! :)
