Suppose 60 percent of kids who visit a doctor have a fever and 40 percent of kids with fever have sore thoats what the probability that a kid who goes to the doctor has a fever and a sore throat

Hello!

We have the probabilities 6/10 and 4/10. If someone where to have both we multiply our two probabilities.

6/10(4/10)=24/100=12=50=6/25

There is a 6/25 or 24% chance.
