Hello!
To solve this we will cross multiply the first numerator by the second denominator and then divide by the other value you have besides a, which in our case is 15.
10(30)=300
300/15=20
Therefore,
A=20
.
I hope this helps!

Cross multiply
10/a = 15/30
10/a(a)(30) = 15/30(30)(a)
Simplify
1/a(a) = 1
15/30(30) = 15
10(30) = 15(a)
Simplify. Combine terms
300 = 15a
Isolate the a. Divide 15 from both sides
300/15 = 15a/15
a = 300/15
a = 20
A) a = 20
is your answer
hope this helps
