What is the equation of a line that has a slope of 2 and passes through the point (2, 3)?

y = 2x - 4

y = x + 2

y = 2x + 1

y = 3x - 1

y = 2x - 1

as the slope is 2 it will contain '2x'. and the point (2,3) which means x =2 when y = 3 fits the equation y = 2x - 1.

So its the last choice.
