1 mile = 5,280 feet
Let s = seconds we must find
260/5,280 = 3/s

Hello!
Let's write this as a proportion below.
Now we cross multiply and divide to find x.
≈ 61
Therefore,the car takes about
61 seconds
for the car to drive a mile.
