The food must be preserved even after pasteurization in order to prevent it from getting spoiled and contaminated.

Explanation:

Foods need to be preserved in order to prevent it from effects of enzyme, oxygen and microorganism.

The process of heating the food up to 75 degree Celsius and rapidly cooling it is called as pasteurization.

This process kills only the harmful microorganism present in the food.

In order to protect the food from effects of other factors such as enzymes and oxygen, the food must be preserved even after pasteurization.
