This is a counting question
First stock has 3 choices
Second stock has 3 choices
Third stock has 3 choices
:
:
The sixth stock has 3 choices.
Therefore the total number of choices is
3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 = 3^6 = 729
Answer 729
