Start out by adding 50 to both sides.
2x - 50 + 50 = 150 + 50 which simplifies to2x = 200
then divide both sides by 22x ÷ 2 = 200 ÷ 2 which simplifies to
x = 100
And that is your answer! Hope this helps :)

First, lets add 50 to both sides to reverse the -50.
After that, lets reverse the multiplication by dividing both sides by 2.
Therefore, x = 100.
