PLEASE HELP ASAP IM USING THE LAST OF MY POINTS

An ice cream parlor donated boxes of ice cream bars for a school event. The organizers need to decide how many ice cream bars are available for each person.

a formula for this scenario is

X = YZ
------
A

Rewrite the equation to solve for the number of bars per person.

X = number of people at the event
Y = number of ice cream bars per box
Z = number of boxers
A = number of bars per person

A=yz/x

Multiply both sides by A

That gives you A•X=YZ

Then divide both sides by X

That gives you A= yz/can

Let's figure out what the formula should be first. I can't really read it the way it's typed.

Total number of bars = number of people(X) times bars per person (A)

Total number of bars = number of boxes (Z) times bars per box (Y)

Those are the same so

AX=YZ

It looks like what was being asked was correct:

X=(YZ)/(A)

Solving for A, we multiply both sides by A and divide both sides by X, which really means move A to the numerator on the left, and X to the denominator on the right.

A=(YZ)/(X)
