The answer is x=-3 because negative times a native is a positive

-6x - 3y = 18
To find the x-intercept, plug in 0 for y and solve for x.

-6x - 3(0) = 18
-3 times 0 is 0, so take out -3(0) from the equation.

-6x = 18
Divide both sides by -6.

x = -3
The x intercept is -3.
