Hello!

We can actually just multiply everything together as all of our numbers are like terms.

-7.5(5)=-37.5(6.2)=-232.5

I hope this helps!

We can simplify this quantity by multiply all of the numbers together. I believe that the best way to start simplifying this is by doing 5 * 6.2, because it will create a number without a decimal. 5 * 6.2 is 31. Now, all we have to do is multiply 31 by -7.5. We can do this by multiplying 31 by -7, and then 31 by -0.5, and then adding the results. 31 * -7 = -217, and 31 * -0.5 = -15.5, so the answer is -217 + (-15.5) which is equal to -232.5
