Because there are 3 sets of one cookie with 10 chips we can say that each set it worth 10 points. In the second equation has 1 set of cookies so we can subtract 10 points leaving us with 4 bananas that are equal to 4 points, this lets us know that each banana is worth 1 point. In the 3rd equation there are 2 bananas and if you subtract that you will have 6 points left that is equal to 2 clocks set at 3 o'clock. This tells us that each clock is worth whatever time it displays. In the final equation the closk set at 2 o'clock is worth 2 points and each banana is worth 1 point. Because the cookie only has 7 chips with it now it is not equal to 10. To divide it evenly the cookie would be worth 5 points and each chip is worth 0.5 points. So the cookie with 7 chips is equal to 8.5 points.
