You can notice that
the denominator is a power of three.
So,you have : 1/3⁰ ; 1/3¹ ; 1/3² ; 1/3³ ; etc....
The rule of the feometric sequence is : n ₓ = 1/3 ˣ

Multiply 1/3 each time.
is the rule
1 x 1/3 = 1/3
1/3 x 1/3 = 1/9
1/9 x 1/3 = 1/27
etc etc
