a tube that stores and develops sperm cells from the testes.

Epididymis is tube like coiled structure that receives sperms from testes, stores them and partially matures them ( as sperms gain mobility in this region through mobility of its flagella).

It has three parts namely, head (largest part, lying at the top of testes and receives sperms) , body ( a highly coiled/ twisted region), and tail region ( that transports sperm to vas deferens) .
