Simplify th' expression :-

5 (- 3x - 7)

⇒5 × (- 3x) + 5 × (- 7)

⇒ - 15x + (- 35)

⇒ - 15x - 35

Hence,
The required answer is: - 15x - 35

5( - 3x - 7) =
To find our answer we need to work out the parenthesis. This can for instance be done using rainbow technique.


5 * - 3x + 5 * - 7 =
Now multiply. Remember that multiplying a negative by a positive makes you end up with a negative.


- 15x - 35
The fourth answer is correct.
