Self-efficacy is the belief that one can succeed in life. Self-efficacy, or confidence is one's belief in one's ability to succeed in specific situations or accomplish a task. It can play a major role in how one approaches goals, tasks, and challenges. It’s important to positive parenting because it lets the child know that they are accepted and worthwhile. if a child doesn’t think they can succeed, that is being negative, whereas if the child feels as if they can succeed, they will have a more positive outlook on life. It is an important thing we can do to promote the well being of children.
