let the no. be x

Equation Formation
9 x = 9 +x
9 x - x = 9
8 x = 9
x = 9/8
x = 1 1/8

Answer = 1 1/8

let the unknown number=x
Nine times a number=9x
9 added to the number=x+9
Since they both are shown equal, we can equate,
9x=x+9
9x-x=9
8x=9
x=9/8
