What is the value of the rational expression below when x is equal to 4? 12+x/4+x

the ratio is 16/8 but as a whole it would = 2

When x = 4 and we have 12+x/4+x we can substitute 4 in for x.

12+4/4+4 = 12 + 1 + 4 = 17
