We need to look at the tenths place. If the tenths place (0.52 the bolded) is bigger, the decimal is larger (if you're not comparing two numbers where one is whole and one isn't; ex.: 1.52 and 0.6, 0.6 isn't bigger because there's a one). If the place most to the left has a greater number, it is a greater number. The tenths place is the most to the left. The only option that has a digit in the tenths place that is more than 5 is D.

0.6>0.52
So, D. 0.6.

Look at the first digit after the decimal. That digit (if there is no whole number), is in the tenths place, and will, if there is a greater number, let you know which one is the greatest.

D) 0.6 is your answer, because it is greater than all the other numbers by at least 1.

hope this helps
