Hello!
The formula for the area of a triangle is A=1/2bh. Let's plug this into the equation below.
A=1/2·5(12)
A=1/2·60
A=30
The answer is
B. 30sq. in.

Area of Triangle= ( h*w ) /2.
So, 12 times 5 is 60. But then, you need to divide by 2 to get 30 sq. inches. Hope this helped!
