A direct result of having greenhouse gases in the atmosphere would be energy from the sun trapping its self within the earth's atmosphere and ground, producing a lot of heat in the process since it cannot escape, making some temperatures rise substantially in some regions. However, another direct result would be plant growth. Greenhouse gasses are made of carbon dioxide, or CO2, and plants cannot live without carbon dioxide. It also causes a significant amount of water vapor which provides more rain as a direct result like it does carbon dioxide, which makes our planet healthier and able to survive easier.
