The length of XS is 9.

We can get this because of the definition of a bisector. A bisector is something that cuts something else into two equal parts. So, if the something is 18 units long, then half of it would be 9 units. That's exactly what's happening in this problem, so that means that XS, like in our example problem, will be 9.
