Let
p_1 be the probability that mom will order chinese takeout for dinner and
q_1.

Let
p_2 be the probability that mom will take you to a movie.

Let
p_3 be the probability that mom will order both chinese take out and take you to the movies.
Using the formula (Addition Principle) for not mutually exclusive events:

P(A\cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A\cap B)
the chance that mom will order chinese take out or take you to the movies is:

P=p_1+p_2-p_3=0.75+0.5-0.6=0.65
