In Section A:
m=[f(b)-f(a)]/[b-a]

b=1
f(a) =
4 ^(0) =1
f(b) =
4 ^(1) =4
m=[f(b)-f(a)]/[b-a]------> m=[4-1]/[1-0]------> m=3

In Section B:
m=[f(b)-f(a)]/[b-a]
from x = 2 to x =3
a=2
b=3
f(a) =
4 ^(2) =16
f(b) =
4 ^(3) =64
