If you marked the one on the left then you are correct. The initial value for this exponential function is 2. That is where x is 0 and y have some value. You could do this mathematically by replacing the x in the equation with a 0 and solving for y. Anything, whether it be a variable or a number, raised to the power of 0 is 1. y = 2 then when you raise 3 to the 0 power because 3^0 = 1 and 2*1 = 2.
