A spherical storage tank has a diameter of 14 feet. Approximately how many cubic feet of water will it hold?

The formula for volume of a sphere is : V= 4/3 * PI * r^3

r = 1/2 the diameter: 14/2 = 7 feet

Volume = 4/3 * 3.14 * 7^3

Volume = 1,436 cubic feet.
