The number of moles of magnesium, chlorine and oxygen atoms in 3.00 moles of magnesium perchlorate (MgClO4)2 is 3,6, 24 respectively

calculation

find the total number of each atoms in Mg(ClO4)2

that is Mg = 1 x1 = 1 atoms
Cl = 1 x2 = 2 atoms
O = 4 x2 = 8 atoms
then multiply the total number of each atom with 3 moles

that is Mg = 1 x3 = 3moles
Cl = 2 x3 = 6 moles
O = 8 x3 = 24 moles
