There are 4 boys and 2 girls (6 together) from the seventh grade, then the probability that captain will be girl is equal to
P_1= (2)/(6) = (1)/(3).

There are 3 boys and 5 girls from the eighth grade (8 together) from the seventh grade, then the probability that captain will be girl is equal to
P_1= (5)/(8).
Use the product rule to find the probability that both captains will be girls:

P=(1)/(3)\cdot (5)/(8)=(5)/(24).
