In The Diary of a Young Girl, Frank portrays adults as being more confident about their opinions and actions than children are. As a result, she thinks that war is harder on kids than it is on adults. Although we aren’t able to see into the minds of her parents, this entry reveals Frank’s struggle to be an optimistic kid with the whole world against her. By nature, she wants to view the future positively, but her present situation is grim and full of danger. In Frank’s view, adults are ready to deal with serious problems but children are not. As a result of her confidence in adults’ ability to deal with problems, Frank is disappointed that the adults in her life often fall short of her expectations.

Well, one of the people/groups that Anne Frank portrays is the van Daan family.

The mother is very composed, flirtatious, and full of herself. She regrets not living up to her potential as a young woman.

The father is a portly man who always wants to be right. He and his wife get into ridiculous fights over silly things. He loves his booze.

Their son. Peter, is a shy, humorous, witty, and intelligent young man of 16. He embarks on a relationship with Anne, and Anne helps him come out of his shell with her young energy.

(P.S. Next time, add the excerpt from your worksheet/classwork/homework, or I really can't help you).
