So in the shaded region, find any point (if (0,0) is in the region, use that point because it is easiest!) and plug the (x,y) into the x and y of your inequality. Solve from here, and if your inequality remains true, leave the graph as is. If not, flip the shade region (ex. if the top was shaded, erase that region and shade the bottom, and vice versa.)
