Then, the number of different list of students could be read is given by :-


C(20\ ;9)=(20!)/(9!(20-9)!)\\\\=(20*19*18*17*16*15*14*13*12*11!)/(9*8*7*6*5*34*3*2*1*11!)\\\\=167960

Hence, the number of different list of students could be read= 167,960
