what is the slope-intercept for of the equation of the line that passes through the point (-6,1) and is perpendicular to the graph of 2x+3y=-5?

The slope that you need to use is 3/2 which is perpendicular to the slope of -2/3.

Use:
y-1=3/2(x+6)
y-1=3x/2 + 9
y=3x/2 + 10

y=3x/2+10 is the final answer
