Hi there!

The sum of all th' angles of a triangle is always 180°

Acc'rding to the Question :-
Sum of all the angles in terms of " y " = 180°

⇒ 2y + y + 10° + 50° = 180°

⇒ 3y + 60° = 180°

⇒ 3y = 180° - 60°

⇒ 3y = 120°

⇒ y =
\frac {120°}{3} = 40°

Hence,
Option (C.) is Correct.

Hi there! The answer is B.

The sum of the angles in a triangle is always 180°.

We can also express the sum of the angles in terms of y. The sum will be:

2y + y + 10 + 50

Collect the terms.

3y + 60

We can now set up and solve an equation.

3y + 60 = 180

Subtract 60 from both sides.

3y = 120

And finally divide both sides by 3.

y = (120)/(3) = 40

Hence, the answer is B.
