Solve the equation for y.
2y = 10
y = 5
y must be 5, but there is no restriction on x.
Any ordered pair that has a y-value of 5, no matter what the x-value is, satisfies the equation.
(1, 5), (2, 5) are two ordered pairs that satisfy the equation.
