Corresponding angles related to transversal of parallel lines are equal. 126° and (5y-4)° are corresponding angles, hence equal.
126 = 5y - 4
130 = 5y . . . . . . add 4
y = 26 . . . . . . . . divide by 5

The value of y is 26.
