Hi!

Remember that whatever we do to the equation we have to do on both sides.

We need to isolate y on one side by first adding 4 to both sides.
-3y-4+4=2+4
-3y=6
Divide by -3 on both sides.
-3y/-3=6/-3
y=-2

Now find y+4
-2+4=2

The answer is 2

Hope this helps! :)
