Hi!

Let's find the volume of the cylinder first.
The equation to find the volume of a cylinder is
(r = radius, h = height)
v = πr²h

Fill in the values
v = π · 100² · 250
Solve
v = π · 10000 · 250
v = π · 2500000
v = 7853981.63

Now since the cylinder is half-full, divide by 2.
7853981.63/2 = 3926990.81

To find how many liters are in the container, divide
1 liter = 1000
3926990.81/1000 = 3926.99081
Round to the nearest liter
3927

There are 3927 liters in the cylindrical tank

Hope this helps! :)
