the perimeter will be 15 because you would add all the units then subtract the triangles perimeter. The answer will be C. Hope this helped :)

We would need to use the pythagorean theorem to find the hypotenuse of the triangle to solve for the other side of the parallelogram.

a^2 + b^2 = c^2
(9)^2 + (12)^2 = c^2
81 + 144 = c^2
225=c^2
c=15

Now we know that the other side of the parallelogram has a length of 15 inches.

To find the perimeter of the parallelogram, we just add the four sides of the shape together.
P= 16+16+15+15
P=2(16)+2(15)
P=32+30
P=62 in
