Answer:

False.

Step-by-step explanation:

Boris Yeltsin was the first Russian president serving from 1991 to 1999. He was a member of the Communism Party until 1990 when he split and stood as political independent being in favor of capitalism rather than his previous party.

Gorbachev was the last leader of the Soviet Union and was responsible for putting an end to that superpower dividing it into different sovereign states. To accomplish that, Gorbachev adopts a policy called "perestroika" to decentralize economics.

Yeltsin was in favor of this policy but then he criticized it for being too moderate. He was responsible for finally dissolving the Soviet Union and adapting Russia into a capitalist market.

So, according to the information above, the communist did not install Yeltsin because he finally ended up destroying the biggest country communism has ever had.

I hope this answer helps you.

Boris Yeltsin was a staunch opponent of Gorbachev plans. The hatred seemingly begun with Yeltsin criticism of Gorbachev reforms plans. Gorbachev did not act in advice,to send him as an ambassador to Africa.
He hated Gorbachev very much and fondly said it. This is besides the fact that it is Gorbachev who brought Yeltsin to Moscow, to aid in his reforms.Yeltsin hatred for Gorbachev is historically related to the collapse of the soviet union.
