A lecture is an oral presentation by a lecturer (university or college teacher) that is intended to pass information concerning a particular topic or teach people about a given subject or topic. Lectures mainly belong in an academic context.
Presentation on the other hand shows the audience something or giving a talk about a research done. They are often given in a business context and commonly involve different media; that is graphs, slides, sometimes audio and video media.
