A regular hexagon had an apthem measuring 14 cm and an approximate perimeter of 96 cm . What is the approximate area of the hexagon?

The area of a regular polygon is A = 1/2 ap. If you have your apothem measure and your perimeter, just "plug and chug"! A = 1/2 (14)(96) which gives us an area of 672 cm squared.
